Overview of sanctions against Russia

NSP lawyers have prepared an overview of key sanctions against Russian individuals and legal entities. The information will be supplemented taking into account changes in the sanctions programs of foreign states.

The overview contents:

- US sanctions,

- UK sanctions,

- EU sanctions,

- Canada's sanctions,

as well as a number of additional restrictions on banking services, air travel, the supply of cars and high-tech products.

In the updated version of the review dated March 5, 2022, we have clarified the lists of persons included in the US, EU and UK sanctions lists. Added description of new restrictions: restriction of maritime navigation in the UK and the US, a ban on the export of goods from the UK, an asset freeze in the EU. For certain types of sanctions, we have added types of operations that are not subject to the imposed sanctions restrictions (most of these permits are temporary).

We also updated the list of companies that, on their own initiative, introduced restrictions on the supply or use of their products in Russia.
