Nikolai specializes in M&A, venture capital transactions, and asset restructuring for both Russian and international parties. He counsels clients on a wide range of corporate and securities law matters.
Chinese language and expertise in Chinese legal systems allow him to work on complex cross-border projects throughout East Asia and liaise effectively with local counsel.
Nikolai holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Faculty of Law at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE) and a Master's degree in Corporate Law from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU).
He is currently a Ph.D. student at the Department of Business Law at Lomonosov Moscow State University.
In 2024, Nikolai completed a half year exchange program at the China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) in Beijing, PRC. He was awarded the Chinese Government Scholarship.
His professional and research interests focus on comparative legal studies and corporate law in Russia and China.
In his spare time, Nikolai is an avid history and oriental studies enthusiast. He enjoys practicing mixed martial arts (MMA) and trekking.
