Makarov Law Office court legal firm joint to NSP

A team consisting of 10 lawyers and assistants specializing in assistance in complex court disputes and bankruptcies has unified with Nektorov, Saveliev & Partners (NSP) and Roman Makarov, a Makarov Law Office Managing Partner has been appointed as a bureau partner.

Lawyers of Makarov Law Office have experience of work in such big legal processes as Maximov v. NLMK corporate conflict, bankruptcies of NK YUKOS, Moscow Tyre Plant, Maxi Group, the biggest Russian infrastructure disputes concerning state and private partnership disputes and other projects.

Roman Makarov graduated Legal Department of St. Petersburg State University in 2003. He received experience in Russian industrial companies. Since 2007 he professionally represents interests of big businessmen in courts and commercial arbitrations. Roman is a member of Boards of Directors of a few companies.

Also experienced senior lawyers Angelina Skorobogatko and Dimitry Nurzhinsky joined NSP. They have started working on NSP clients’ projects together with Ilia Rachkov and Egor Kondratenko. The joined court team managed by partners Ilia Rachkov and Roman Makarov will focus on corporate conflicts, complex bankruptcy processes, commercial arbitration and international disputes including ones connected with matters of application of the sanctions legislation.

The unified NSP team will consist of 25 experts including partners and administrative staff. NSP will fix attention on transaction support of corporate investment and financial projects under Russian and English laws for investment banks and companies of the technological sphere paying a special attention to international business aspects.
